When access the excel file to be downloaded I got this error: 'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, Public up vote 1 down vote favorite I have web-site that uses MS Excel files read/write. Hi, I developed a simple C# app using VS 2010 and used the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel v 14.0.0.0. The app works fine the laptop where I developed it (I have Office 2010 on my laptop). I tried to run the app on a different machine by copying the whole debug folder but it didn’t work. Version='12.0.4518.1014' / For projects that support PackageReference, copy this XML node into the project file to reference the package. Paket add Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel -version 12.0.4518.1014.
